Router Table: My Western Washington University woodshop instructor (Fall 2001), Michael Flaherty, helped me make a router table. I wanted one pretty much like the one I had become accustumed to in class, and this one fiills the bill. He actually did most of the work. It has an internal plug for the router and an external box as well. There are holes along both sides of the top for positioning the wooden fences. It weighs a ton. Michael also took the trouble to show me a bunch of router technques which we hadn't covered in class. The first pictures show it on my workbench. Later on I made (with my neighbor Mike's help) a wheeled table to hold the box. It serves additional duty - we made it so the top is just below the height of the table saw, so it can be used to handle outfeed from there.
