notes: My neighbor Mike McMullen designed and built (he says I helped) this workbench which occupies almost the length of the back wall in my garage. We dadoed the 4x4s using his radial arm saw, set them up in my garage to form two tables, about eight feet long each (with a four foot extention back along the old bench on the far wall), thirty inches deep. The 2x4s are mitered around the corner posts and fitted into the dadoed legs. The lower shelf is composition; the top is 1-1/4" ply, surrounded with mitered MDF. Everything is attached with drywall screws so it can be completed disassembled.
