and their spouse/dates
and some faculty
in our small house

Bud’s room

at one point

Karen and I
went there
to be alone
so I could propose
(a second time)
and set a date
which I/we did
on Bud’s mattress
(sat flat on the floor)
with you wagging
and wuffling
(part woof part snuffle)
between us
You thought we
were playing
a Big Game
and we were
